Portfolio of Works
The following is a collection of work that I have compiled presenting examples of my abilities to potential clients. For anyone interested in obtaining a copy of any of these pieces, or permission to use any images from this section, or the rest of the site, please contact me at email@chrisbraybrook.com.
Website Design & Development
In all of my work, I strive to put forth my best effort and take advantage of my talents for organization and creativity. Website Design & Development takes advantage of those skills the most, as it is the most diverse media platform out there. I believe that you will find the work I'm presenting for this medium to be some of my best; It is the work I am most proud of.
Imaging & Interactive Media
This is a collection of photos I've taken, images I've compiled, and other interactive media that I've put together, such as Business Card CD's and other Flash-based media. I think that you will find these works to be well put together and that they have a professional touch to most of them. If you're interested in commissioning any such work as these from me, please make use of the information located on the contact page to send me a request.
Print Media
Posters from various events and projects, newsletters, brochures and more are on display here. Using such programs as QuarkXPress and Macromedia FreeHand (to name a couple,) I am able to create various items in the Print medium to suit a client's needs.
Chris Braybrook
As I've stated in an article on the redesign of my website elsewhere on this site, I felt that the previous design, (forthcoming to this portfolio) was not suiting the purposes I need this site to fulfill. Thus, in an effort to attract more people to the services that I have to offer, I've come up with this new design, and am, as ever, continually working to update it with new projects and applications.
If you're interested in having a look at the back end that drives this website, or the private applications that are available only to clients (which will be publicly listed in the future,) send me an e-mail to email@chrisbraybrook.com
The Hand Crafter
The Hand Crafter is a member of the Manitoba Association for the Handicapped, and provides daytime activities and employment for those with special needs.
Their online catalogue is a project that allows them to expand the market for products which have previously been available only to those stopping by their local store in Boissevain, Manitoba, Canada.

If You Like
During a term spent working at the Boissevain & Morton Regional Library, I endeavoured to create an application which would allow its users to look up a book that they had already read, and get a list of suggestions based on Title, Author, and Genre.
This was the first attempt made by myself to develop a database-driven web application, and it turned out very well. Using a couple of selection techniques, a user is able to take any reccommendation a client may have and add it to any given book in the database. Adding more titles, and editing existing ones is remarkably easy to do.
Chaos Reigns MOO
Chaos Reigns MOO was a text-based online role-playing game centered on a unique theme that is being compiled by Johnathan Barnhart. Whilst the game was active, it was enjoyed by all its members, and was only [temporarily] shutdown so as to allow Johnathan to finish writing the support story for the game.
The website designed for this game gave it a web presence that allowed for people to become familiar with the base theme for the game and launch an interface to a guest character or a character they'd already registered.
Zach-CD
Zach Raizman is an aspiring young singer / songwriter who required a web presence to advertise upcoming events that he was performing at, and give his potential audience a platform to download samples of his music.
Boissevain Community Archives Business Card CD
James Ritchie requested that a project be put together for the Boissevain Community Archives during one of my terms working at the Boissevain & Morton Regional Library. In response, I created for him this Flash presentation which was then loaded onto small Business Card CDs for distribution.
The presentation provides an introduction the the Boissevain Community Archives and provides a few articles and publication examples to whet the appetite of potential visitors and / or partners. There is also a section wherein the user is encouraged to take advantage of the online services that the Archives offer.
Astrological Composite
This particular piece was put together a number of years ago as a school project. The task was to create a collage on a single topic. Using images I collected from a variety of sources, I compiled the image you see here at left.
Wonderville Teaser Posters (ADLIB)
In Spring of 2003, the local Boissevain drama group, known as ADLIB, performed Wonderville in the local Theatre. With the assistance of Brad Peters, I took charge of the advertising campaign for the production. In addition to leaflets and the main production poster (forthcoming) we created these 7 "teaser" posters to gernerate interest for the play in the local area and surrounding communities.
