Rates & Quotes Update

Posted in Post-It Notes at 11:43 am by Chris

It occurred to me that, as I am based in Canada, and my hourly rate is set in Canadian dollars, that I should post it in American dollars as well. :) Thus, I have done so. See Rates & Quotes for the nitty-gritty details.

How are you determining your USD rate? Do you plan to update it on some kind of regular basis for the exchange or is it a set rate?

I’m asking mainly because the way you’ve got that page worded its not clear. My initial impression was the former based on the wording, but judging by the value I think it might be the latter.

You may want to reconsider the wording.

A good point. I am thinking that it will be simply a fixed rate. That way saves everybody the headache of having to go and figure out what the exchange rate is. If it swings drastically one way or the other, I will adjust it accordingly.

I’ve re-written the statement of my hourly rate on the Rates & Quotes page.

It’s a good change. It reads much clearer now.
