New Banner

Well, if you’re reading this, then it’s obvious what I’m posting about. :) Yes, I’ve come up with the new banner for :: chrisbraybrook.com ::. Some people out there may think it’s a bit ‘done’ already in terms of the fact that this type of banner has been used in other places before; however, even though I’ve thought about that myself, I say this: I like it. :)

So, taking from this point on, I will be making a few changes, including rearranging a few things on the site. I plan to move the Reading List blog over to a new site to keep things separate. (Personal vs Professional, you understand.) As well, the portfolio stuff is going to become front and center for this site. I am going to set up the main page so that it randomly pulls a new piece out of the portfolio every day to display on the home page. (How’s that for dynamic content for ya!) ;)

I’m thinking that the main page will be divided up into a few different sections. The first will be what I’m going to call the Portfolio Splash (for lack of a better term.) After that, will follow this blog and the relative ‘archives’, ‘articles'’, ’search’ stuff.

I think that I may only have the most current article posted on the main page. If someone wishes to read further into things, they can browse the archives, or I suppose that I can set up a secondary page that will act as a ‘mass blog viewer’.

    We shall see either way.
