Send Request
The "Send Request" control panel is back up and running. I’ve improved it as well so that the fields in the request form are validated before the request is submitted. This needed to be done to save my sanity from requests that were being caught by my spam filter.
So, if you need to get in touch with me in a hurry, (and you happen to be a client,) use the Send Request form on the Control Panel. All messages sent from that form will reach me immediately.
New Users
Well, with a lot of re-writing of the code I had in place for this task before, I’ve recompiled the user control scripts. So, anyone wishing to sign up for a Control Panel account for access to scripts and applications that I write, may do so by sending me an e-mail to accounts@chrisbraybrook.com.
Control Panel
For those of my clients who have been eagerly awaiting the return of my Control Panel, I would like to let you know that said day is almost here!
I am presently working on setting up the basics for the control panel and getting the various applications contained therein operational under the new design. At the moment, getting the client database utilities up and running is first on the list, now that I actually have the control panel set up such that I can work on it. :)
In the mean time, if you’d like to log in and see what is going on with work on the control panel, the login fields at left will let you do so.
Have a great day!
Rate Card
I was remiss in not posting this earlier, but the Rate Card for my services is now officially posted. I’ve added a tab for quick access to the information from the main menu. Anyone with questions regarding what I charge, or how much a project will cost, can send me an e-mail to quotes@chrisbraybrook.com or use the submission form on my contact page
Display Problems
Well, as I’m not happy with the way my site views on a 1024×768 resolution when I scale it down for 800×600, I’ve gone with setting up two different stylesheets, and am letting JavaScript do the decision-making as to which one gets displayed.
Since it is JavaScript that is doing the decision-making, if a user should have JavaScript disabled, or is using an old version of it, the 800×600 resolution stylesheet will be used instead of the higher resolution setting. This was both the easiest way to set it up, and the best possible setup for my users, I believe.
So, if you happen to be one of those users who is still using a monitor with an 800×600 resolution setting on your computer, I apologize again for the inconvenience I may have caused you, and am glad that you’ve still stuck around. :)
Thanks for your patience everyone!
